Welcome to my website. I am an artist, working in many mediums. Most often I paint in watercolor, but depending on the day and the subject I may use acrylics, pastels, mixed media, inks or collage. It is utter joy to paint; to revel in light and shadow; to get lost in color; to celebrate life in strokes and washes and glazes. To make a bold mark or a sensitive line. To explore and experiment, to experience the "aha!"

No matter what my subject, my intention is to look into the heart; to find that inner something that makes each thing unique. To find the heart and soul of a subject, I must approach each new painting with openness. I must be willing to be inspired, to be amazed, to be lifted up. If I do that, my inspiration may get passed along to you, the viewer. My fondest hope is to express the light and love I find all around me, and to share it.
